Spring Season Painting By Nadia Sanowar |
The mellifluous breeze caresses the firmament
While soft waves of baby's breath fills the scented air
I need only to turn to nature to encounter the rich
Bounty, flowers and plants that blossom, the sun shines
The trees awake, buds struggle to give birth and the
Dear Sparrow's song regenerates the silent earth
The spring awakening burts with exhuberance
Pirouetting in a choreographed rhythmic dance
Like ballerinas the tress bow their heads and sway
Yearning to capture the sun's warming rays
The baton of the breeae signals the chorus to sing
And a field of wild flowers begins to prance with bling
The forest symphony joins in and sings from its roots
Snaps, crackles chipmonks gather twigs underfoot
King Bluebirds arrive, bolder they take up court
In territory other less powerful birds sought
The creatures of spring, new life, arise from sleep,
Chirping, hungry fledglings emerge and been to peep
And the world, rejuvenated by the sun renews
Refreshing earth's vistas with new found views
On nature's velvet green carpet we are invited to sit
Welcome to Spring awakening, our profound gift.
